AWCD (Association for Women and Children Development) is a registered, voluntary, secular, nonprofit organization established in the year of 1990, for the betterment of the society, especially in its weaker sides, women and children. AWCD also provides a platform for individuals, institutions and corporate to partner with Bottom-of-Pyramid communities. Social stability and upliftment of the weaker section can be achieved only by improving the qualities of lives by generating their own leadership in solving their problems and by creating opportunities at their doorsteps for utilizing their resources most efficiently. We are committed to bring about radical change towards a better world and accelerating positive movement on needy critical social issues and effecting enduring systemic change. In our platform, we includes the support and uplift bottom layer of the society by providing them education, medical support, good living conditions and by creating earning opportunities enough to manage their family. We at AWCD, are pledged to create awareness among the public against social and economical evils like corruption, communalism, alcoholism, AIDS, dowry etc and to promote communal harmony among plural society in the country by bringing them together and knowing each other.
